bubba is my buddha

bubba is my buddha
violets dropped quietly
on secret late night runs
slipping past my shadows
desperate offers left undone
her passion through sadness
twists kaleidescope patterns
light shining from lanterns
through her eyes and kisses
her dance of compassion
willfully fulfilling all my
woes and wishes

violence finds the center
and unties love so quickly
chilled winds skirt the sky
spring buds killed by winter
in calm meditative reprise
I repeat my poems and cries
years spent blessed by being
who is this girl I am seeing?
our time has now passed
in timeless reflection
I am lost in affection
bubba is my buddha
